The ThermoPlastic composites Research Center (TPRC) is a research center for thermoplastic composites where experts work together on increasing knowledge of materials, their behavior, product design and processing technologies. Our primary aim is to enable a more widespread use of thermoplastic composites by joint research and development.
TPRC is a unique research center for advanced thermoplastic composites, where both small and large companies closely collaborate with academia. They aim to grow the market for thermoplastic composites through a scientific understanding of the processing of this lightweight and strong type of material. The TPRC consortium is a strong collaboration between partners in the aerospace and automotive value chain, steering our research roadmap. Our research laboratory consists of modern manufacturing machines, analytical equipment, and testing facilities. This environment supports the scientific work performed by our PhD researchers, engineering professionals and allows us to provide trainings to industrial partners.
